79 Ways to Die
The Interactive Shakespeare Speedrun
Our Story
79 Ways to Die is an award winning original work by writer/director Veronica Rosas.
79 Ways To Die is an interactive Shakespeare Speedrun featuring clowning, sword fights and puppetry. We offer a unique look at the various deaths in William Shakespeare’s works. The show features a female cast interpreting male characters, celebrating the female perspective and making fun of the male centric lens classic literature is most often seen from.
Once you get past how deeply problematic Shakespeare is to a modern audience, all the murder and mayhem is really a lot of fun! Just because the show is cursed doesn't mean you can't enjoy 2 people repeatedly, violently killing each other.
The cast of 79 Ways to Die met as Scareactors at Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights. Writer and Director, Veronica Rosas, had originally work shopped this show with an all male cast only to discover that men aren't funny and decided to find the women who have made this show what it is today.

FAQ
Q: I don't get it. Is it a Shakespeare Play?
A: Absolutely not. Imagine someone took everything you loved about Shakespeare and ruined it. Also imagine someone took everything you hated about Shakespeare and made it better.
Q: Is this a good show for kids?
A: That depends on your definition of good. They'll learn a lot about Shakespeare. That's good, right? Also, there's so much murder, sexual innuendo, and some swearing. HOWEVER! We do have a kid friendly, educational version of this show you can learn more about HERE. Please feel free to contact us with any questions and to book a performance.
Q: Did you say it's an interactive show?
A: We may or may not have recently lost a cast member we can't afford to replace. So there's a bunch of roles just waiting to be filled by willing audience members!
