The Cast

Director/Writer/Actor/Producer

Christina Rose

Christina fell in love with Shakespeare at a young age. In a desire to share that love with others, she became a high school theater teacher.

Her work was known for it's immersion and risk-taking. However, flooding the gymnasium for The Tempest was thought to have gone a little too far.

Upon being asked to step down from her position, she moved on to other educational pursuits and wrote her own show in order to teach the masses about Shakespeare.

Unfortunately, most Fringe festivals limit their show runtime to an hour and were unwilling to accept a 6-hour production. Not easily deterred, she rewrote her play to include every Shakespearean tragedy in the fringe festival's quite stringent 1 hour time slot.

Actor/Fight Choreographer

Judy Hagerty

Judy is an amateur knifemaker and thinks the greatest Shakespearean works are those with swords.

She read a book on method acting after being inspired by Jared Leto's portrayal of The Joker in Suicide Squad. She thinks method acting is the most pure form of theatre and utilizes it for all her roles.

Favorite past roles include Sarah Good (The Crucible Jr), Tree #2 (The Lorax), and the title character in Medea.

She is thrilled to spend her service hours bringing these characters to life and death!

Actor

Audrey Sweden

Audrey learned about Shakespeare when she met Christina doing community service. She thought his plays sounded hilarious - especially Titus Andronicus.

She hasn't done any acting before but she does lie at every job interview, court appearance, and on most government documents which is basically the same thing.

In her free time she loves cooking and gardening.

Recently, she has become an avid bird watcher and has started a shelter for pigeons in her apartment.

She also asks that you please stop telling her mom you saw her get mauled by a police dog on the news. "I was sure I could outrun him".

Actor

Paul Clark

Paul studied English literature in order to upset his parents who wanted him to be a doctor.

After spending 8 years writing essays about incredibly boring "works of art" he moved to Scotland to study bagpiping - an even more upsetting endeavor to his parents.

Paul agreed to be part of this show because he is now getting into puppetry and wants to show his parents his new skill.
